Rent Geared to Income (RGI) Units-
Social Housing Units which provide accommodation contingent on family income.
Rent geared to income (RGI) is typically calculated at 30% of the family gross income and is for families/individuals
who meet the income criteria for rent subsidy.
Affordable Housing (AHP) Units- Rental Units with a determined rent based on less than 80% of the Average Market
rental rates established by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Renters must meet income criteria.
